According to 2005 Bureau of Labor Statistics data, over 25 million people work in helping professions in the United States. People such as doctors, nurses, social workers, counselors, psychotherapists, massage therapists, clergy, teachers, and many others dedicate their lives to helping individuals and communities learn, grow, and heal.

In their search to discover ways to help others, they often find themselves looking for ways to continue learning, growing, and healing themselves. For many practitioners, teachers, and leaders, finding ways to stay inspired, creative, and healthy is critical for them to be able to go on serving their communities well and joyously.

Unfortunately, because they are often working with distressed and vulnerable people in challenging conditions, many find their jobs highly stressful. Without tools, support, and proper self-care, such stress can lead to burnout, lack of motivation, and poor mental and physical health.

As a spiritual mission, Gauden serves the potential of the world, calling forth a higher inspiration from people who want to make a difference. By supporting those responsible for healing, teaching, and leading we create a ripple effect that has far-reaching results not only for Gauden members but also for all of their patients, students, clients, families, and communities.

By nurturing and expertly teaching, step-by-step, the consciousness tools to open the visionary ceiling for people from all walks of life, we add to the collective consciousness while we empower individuals. We help our students and members perceive more clearly how to achieve their goals through skillful means. By providing a sound base in ethics and instruction in listening and other communication skills, we support effective, compassionate, responsible action for the world community and provide a model for other institutions.
